Safe Food and Drinking Water

The City's Environmental Health Officers regularly inspect food outlets within the municipality. They conduct a regular food sampling program, analysing a broad range of food for sale against the requirements of the National Food Standards Code. The City also participates in the State Food Monitoring Program coordinated by the WA Department of Health.

The City's Environmental Health Officers also regularly sample non-scheme drinking water supplies that are available for public consumption, such as bottled spring water sources.
