The City of Armadale organises and funds an extensive range of community events. Boasting twilight concerts in Minnawarra Park, a range of exhibitions, an art and craft festival, Australia Day fireworks extravaganza and the largest Scottish festival in WA there is something for everyone to enjoy. All events are free. The City would also like to acknowledge the event sponsors for their support.
Events in 2009
The Golden Spokes Charity Rides are held in country surroundings over a flat closed road circuit centred around the Champion lakes Regatta Centre, near Kelmscott. Registrations close 7.30pm Tuesday 3rd November.
Join Aussies from around the country and come along to the Big Aussie Swap Party! To celebrate National Recycling Week, the City of Armadale is teaming up with Planet Ark to bring you the Big Aussie Swap.
Events in 2010
Catch a movie under the stars as the big screen lights up Rushton Park for two fabulous nights this summer. Bring a rug and a picnic and enjoy a great family film straight from the box office. Movie begins at sunset.
You won't have to battle the crowds to get a possie for this fireworks extravaganza - it's taking place right on your doorstep.
Finish off the summer with a bang and come to Minnawarra Park for a day jam packed full of family fun.
